BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES
This conference will be one of the big International online meetings exclusively dedicated to sharing the latest developments in Membrane science and technology in water purification. We hope that the conference will be extremely useful to researchers working in this field as people with diversified backgrounds are expected to attend the conference and make the event truly interdisciplinary in nature. The conference willemphasize the recent advances in interdisciplinary research on the processing, morphology, structure and properties of membranes for water purification. This symposium will bring together a panel of highly-accomplished experts in the field of advanced materials and water purification. Talks will encompass basic studies and applications and will address topics of novel issues, difficulties, and breakthroughs in the field of advancedmaterials and water purification. The conference will feature keynote addresses, a number of plenary sessions, invited talks and contributed lectures focusing on specific tenets of advanced materials in membrane-assisted water purification.
Because of your excellent contributions to the field of Polymer Science and Technologies, we would like to welcome you to give an invited talk at the conference. The conference's scientific committee is aware of your published works in this field. We would appreciate it if you could e-mail us a one-page abstract of the talk (in MS Word format) at the earliest to the conference e-mail: membrane@macromol.in . You could decide on an appropriate title.
ONLINE BRAIN STORMING DISCUSSION MEETING ON JOINT PROJECTS AND COLLABORATIONS
During the conference there will be a brain storming discussion meeting in order to submit a joint project proposals to European Union under the “HORIZON EUROPE” (https://ec.europa.eu/info/research-and-innovation/funding/funding-opportunities/funding-programmes-and-open-calls/horizon-
europe_en#:~:text=What%20is%20Horizon%20Europe%3F,the%20EU's%20
competitiveness%20and%20growth) programs for funding between India, Europe and Rest of the world. We will also discuss other bilateral research programs between DST, UGC, INSA and DBT of India and Rest of the world. Please note that DST of India has signed bilateral agreement with almost all the countries in the globe. These include DST-NSF, DST-DAAD, DST-DFG, DST-KBN, Indo-French (CEFIPRA), DST-NSF, DST- Australia, etc. etc. This conference will act as a good platform to find partners for international research collaborations. The Chair of the conference, Prof. Thomas is very pleased to collaborate with national and international researchers for formulating joint projects, joint PhD program and joint interactions. Please see the research profile citations and H Index of Prof. Thomas (https://scholar.google.co.in/citations?user=74VyKRYAAAAJ&hl=en)
We have obtained acceptance from Nano Structure and Nano- Objects, (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/nano-structures-and-nano-objects) for publishing peer reviewed papers in the journal. We also got acceptance from Springer Nature Publishers (Springer Nature) for publishing the papers and books. All the papers for the journals and for the books will be peer-reviewed by international experts before publication. The proposed book and journals are indexed by Scopus database.
